Equestrian Adjacent
An ode to form, motion, and the instinctive elegance of the equestrian world—without ever stepping into the ring.
These images borrow the codes of equestrian life: structure, freedom, softness in tension. Horse fiends, saddle leathers, and the romance of wide-open space… all interpreted with a modern editorial lens.
Bouncing up and down on the horse’s back, like a soft trotting trampoline - my own short ponytail swishing in sync with the horse’s long tail. Who knew a horse girl was inside of this 5-year-old ghetto baby (that's me)?
The sound of records playing and cousins laughing reached the barn. We trot around the circle, the smell of mint and sunshine swirling around me in clouds of dust. Penelope, the wrinkliest dog you've ever seen, sleeping in the speckled shade near the pond.
If only they'd let us hop over the gate and explore the muddy path to find the wild berries. My speckled pony and the ancient bulldog would protect me from bees and thorns.
Inspiration to bridge the creative gap between art and interior design with two curated collections* with similar energy and vibe.
Collection 1 Video - horse art in various mediums set to music at a jaunty pace.
Collection 2 Gallery - interior design featuring a horse, of course, somewhere in the room.
