The Camellia House Hotel
AI Concepting and Art Direction by me

This one is personal. I'm building a world — an ability-friendly, size-inclusive, pet-loving boutique hotel wrapped in a flower farm — and I'm starting with the atmosphere because that's where all great brands start.
The visual language came first. The audiobook comes next. Everything I make for this project is research and proof at the same time: proof that I can take a concept that exists only in my head and make it feel completely, specifically real.
Dossiers from the Edge
The hotel isn't open yet.
That's the point.
What I'm building right now is the atmosphere - the specific, sensory, fully-inhabited feeling of a place before a single room is booked or built, tbh. The Camellia House Hotel is an ability-friendly, size-inclusive, pet-loving oasis wrapped in a flower farm. It's for the brunch-obsessed and the design-devoted and anyone who has ever needed luxury to feel less like a performance and more like a relief.
The audiobook comes first. It's an unhinged, Murder She Wrote-meets-Jane the Virgin fever dream layered with the magical realism of Isabel Allende, fueled by a free-flowing supply of Dirty Diet Cokes, and deeply, suspiciously personal. But you'll never know what's fact or fiction... Tantalizing, no?
Why am I telling you this on a portfolio page?
Because I believe the most important thing an Art Director does isn't make things look good. It's building realities. Establish the feeling of a world so specifically and so completely that other people can live inside it, they can smell it, they dream about it. This project is just that. It's proof that I can take a concept that exists right now only in my very detailed notes and make it feel completely, specifically, inevitably real. And babycakes, it’s gonna be real.
The visuals are coming. The Members Only floor is currently under construction.
