art direction & photo editing for hospitality, interiors, and luxury lifestyle brands

I didn't take the obvious path.
I took the interesting one.

art direction, storytelling & brand imagery with soul

I started with a camera.

For over a decade, I worked as a commercial photographer and art director - shooting luxury interiors, lifestyle campaigns, and editorial stories for brands that cared deeply about how things looked and felt. I learned early that great imagery isn't just about technical skill. It's about taste. Knowing what to include, what to leave out, and what the audience is really longing for when they look at a beautiful room or a well-lit table.

Then I built a 3D team.

When the industry started exploring computer-generated imagery, I didn't wait to be assigned to it. I hired and led a team of 3D artists, developed creative briefs for CGI production, and art directed the outputs the same way I'd art direct a photo shoot - with intention, rigor, and an eye for what felt real and what felt hollow.

Then came AI.

I taught myself Midjourney before most people in my industry had heard of it. I experimented obsessively, figured out what the tools could and couldn't do, and built a set of creative standards for AI output that matched the quality bar I'd always held for photography and 3D. Then I built a team around that knowledge - training and leading 10 to 20 creatives on AI-native workflows, establishing brand voice guidelines for generative content, and running quality review for a high-volume AI creative pipeline.

I have the taste, the technical fluency, and the leadership experience to make AI creative work feel luxurious, intentional, and alive - especially in hospitality, where the difference between imagery that books a room and imagery that gets scrolled past is entirely a matter of sensory intelligence. AI doesn't have that. I do.

I'm looking for a creative leadership home in luxury hospitality, editorial, or lifestyle - somewhere that wants someone who thinks at the level of the brand, not just the brief. Remote-first or Miami-based, with full openness to LA. If you're building something meaningful and you need someone who will care about it as much as you do - I want to hear about it.

In the meantime, I'm building my own thing. Follow along.

i’m lucky to be the photo editor for curator, a luxury print publication that’s pure design candy - tactile, thoughtful, and endlessly inspiring. it fuels me creatively and keeps my editorial instincts sharp.

outside of client work, i'm building toward a hospitality concept I've been dreaming up for years: THE CAMELLIA HOUSE - a sensory, ability-friendly boutique hotel surrounded by flowers, where the car takes you and your friends to the beach. it sounds ambitious because it is. but everything i do in luxury creative direction is, in some way, research for it. follow the process in field notes →
